God has taken the family of Abraham and multiplied it into a nation of approximately 2-3 million. This miraculous blessing hasn’t come without difficulty though, as Israel, now a nation, has grown while living in Egypt for 400 years. The majority of their time in Egypt was spent being abused as slaves. Through unprecedented and miraculous means, God frees His people from their bondage, and one of the first things He does with His newly freed people is call a family meeting. God deliverers 10 commands to His people so they can fulfill their purpose of knowing Him, honoring Him, and reflecting His glory to the lost world.
